The T & P'S Society: Stolen Crown (part 2)

Terry the turtle dragged himself out of bed in the morning, ate his breakfast and headed to work on his brand new Segway 9.4. The day before had been extremely hectic, what with all the Detective Hassen-Lochen stuff, Terry barely had time to breath! Today they were going to do some "investigating at the crime-scene" as Perry would call it. Perry and Terry had been buddies since the beginning of time. Not literally but you get what I mean. They started the company a few years back and it had grown into an immensely popular hiring site. Not because people were always quitting or getting fired, but because they just didn't have that many associates. Strangely enough, all the associates, including the co-presidents, names rhymed! Except for Bob the ladybug. He was always grumpy with being teased about being called a ladybug and being the only one with the name that didn't rhyme. Terry and Perry had tried loads of ways to try to make Bob feel better but so far, none of them had ever worked. Terry sped along the Segway lane on the highway until a huge bird swooped down and picked up Terry and his Segway and flew away.

Terry was scared to death. The first fact you would probably learn about the turtle would be that he had and irrational fear of birds. As Terry dangled dangerously from the birds claws, he thought about all the fun he had with Perry. The turtle closed his eyes and wished he was on solid ground. "Terry?" a familiar voice called. "Well that worked faster thank I thought it would." he thought. Terry opened his eyes and it was Perry. "B-b-b-bird....carried....highway..." Terry droned off trying to explain what had happened to him. "Umm, heh heh. Funny story..."started Perry. "We kinda mighta maybe sent Millie the bird to pick you up faster, so yeah." the panda looked embarrassed and shameful. "It was an emergency! We had to take extreme measures! I knew you would take long to get here because of the traffic!" Perry protested. Terry rolled his eyes. "Alright, since it was so important that you had to use one of our associates and one of my worst fears to pick me up from the middle of the highway, what did you need to tell me?"
