Scat is a book by Carl Hiaasen, who's books I absolutely LOVE. It's about a boy named Nick. When his biology teacher, Mrs. Starch, goes missing on a school field trip, Nick has his friend Marta helping him figure out the mystery. They think that Smoke, their blamable classmate, has something to do with Mrs. Starch's disappearance, in fact Smoke does have something something to do with it. After camping out at Black Vine Swamp, finding a black panther and getting into LOADS of trouble, Nick and Marta finally find out what's happening.

Once upon a time there was a flying pig named Arrowroot. Arrowroot found a mermaid who suddenly started exclaiming "Daddy, Daddy! Do you want to read my book? Daddy, do you want to read part of my book? So do you want to? Say yes or no! So do you want to? Do you? Do you? DO YOU???" and then Arrowroot answered by staring and drooling. Arrowroot flew on and stopped by a HUMONGOUS ladybug. The ladybug was playing with a piece of lint.
"Hellooooo?" the flying pig yodeled. The ladybug stared at the lint as if it was in a trance. After 3 years of long waiting Arrowroot moved on with a long white beard. Then, while he was flying a tree stood in his way. Arrowroot moved to the left, the tree moved to the left. Arrow moved to the right, the tree moved to the right...

Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George

Dragon Slippers is a book that anyone of any age would enjoy. The author is Jessica Day George. The main character is named Creel and her aunt gives her away to a dragon. Creel bargains her way out with pair of shoes and makes her way to King's Seat where she gets a job at Derda's Dress Shop. There Creel meets Larkin, Marta, Alle and Derda. Creel also meets Prince Miles who is getting married to Amalia Princess of Roulani and Prince Luka. While she's shopping at the market Creel bumps into Amalia who demands Creel's shoes. After a few days Larkin turns on Creel and trades her shoes for an ugly grey dress. Creel soon discovers that her slippers aren't just slippers, their Dragons Slippers that control every dragon in the WORLD!!! It turns out Amalia was a spy for the Roulani. King's Seat turns into a battlefield as the Roulani and the people of King's Seat declare war.  When  Oscar recovered from his faint, he was STILL  in the same crazy world that he thought had been just a dream and was STILL in the same dungeon made out of dog food(well... the bars only really ).  He sighed as he dusted himself (just because it's a dungeon made out of dog food it doesn't mean that there can't be any dust in it EH?) and got up. Soon he was dozing off as comfortable as ever even though the whole dungeon was made out of dog food.

When I Was Younger...

When I was three years old...
Me and my family went to an in door play ground in Sweden. It was around the time of Christmas.  When we arrived there was a (note that I underlined the a) Santa Claus there. Before we visited Santa Claus we ate some food. That's when I noticed Santa was here ( It's not my fault in was tempted to watch a episode of
Family Guy and in the episode Stewy got kidnapped by Santa Claus because he was so well behaved not).
And so..
I didn't want to go to Santa and Santa didn't want to upset me so he ran the away from me and I was scared by him so I "ran away" (hid under the table) from Santa. So...
we ended up "running away" from each other.

When Oscar woke up he found himself in a strange world. As he was getting carried he saw that every few seconds the sky changed it;s colour. One moment it was blue, magenta then beige then plum!!! "It was either that" he thought, " Or I'm hallucinating ". Then that was when the world turned black a sudden of all. Oscar woke up and found himself in a dungeon. The bars were made out of Dog Food. "WAIT A MINUTE...
DID I JUST SAY DOG FOOD?!?!?!?" he shouted to himself. Then for the second time that day, he fainted.

After that Oscar didn’t come down for a few days. Besides he was the “scaredy” one in his family. Speaking of his family...

He had lost them a few years ago and lived lonely for most of his life.

Now let’s get back to our Oscar in the future as he was slowly creeping down the stairs (he still hadn’t forgotten what had happened 3 days ago and that still creeped him out, bad. When he finally reached the bottom (which took quite some time) he shivered/shook violently, but braved himself up and said: “I’m going in!” to no one in particular. When he went in, he saw the dusty and damaged Christmas lights he had treasured for the first three years of his life. But that was 56 years ago he remembered. Suddenly there was rapid shaking and weird voices chanting weird words. The small door burst open and little tiny trolls wearing dog clothing came in the tiny basement and carried poor Oscar through the door.

One warm, sunny summer day something mysterious happened. Oscar Millington was a normal person. Nothing unusual had EVER happened to him in his entire life. That day he decided to look down in his basement. He hadn’t gone there in a long time. The basement was a dusty, cob-webbed place. It was the only room in his whole entire house (which was really, really, really BIG) that was full of coldness and a feeling of where felt unsafe. When he went down, he saw the little stack of newspaper he had used to deliver as a little boy. Oscar coughed, that was normal for him, especially in the basement. He turned around and saw a small door. That moment he swore he saw the tiny doorknob turn. He screamed like a little girl, in fright, and ran up the stairs and shut the door behind him...
